We monitor the Amazon Buy Box across the BSR top-1.5M products daily for both US and UK marketplaces, plus Walmart US. Data is collected via our proprietary data collection infrastructure that captures buybox ownership, pricing, seller identity, and product metadata. For a full explanation of methodology, data freshness guarantees, and collection boundaries, see the Data Methodology page.
The standard daily refresh runs at 02:00 UTC. Priority-queue ASINs (those in your workspace's managed catalog) refresh on a tier-based window — Scout gets daily coverage, Scout Pro gets priority-queue acceleration, and Scout + Protect gets accelerated refresh on critical ASINs. Historical data goes back to December 2024 for brands in the BSR top-1.5M.
Only products in the Amazon BSR top-1.5M appear in the cross-workspace data slice. If a brand or ASIN isn't showing, it may not currently rank in that range. You can request deeper coverage by uploading ASINs to the priority queue via Admin, then Catalog Upload. Uploaded ASINs get tracked regardless of their BSR position, within your tier's ASIN cap.
Sellers are classified based on your authorized seller list. If you haven't uploaded one yet, all sellers default to "Unverified." Once you upload your authorized seller list (Admin, then Brands, then your brand's Settings), sellers matching your list are marked "Authorized" and all others become "Unauthorized." The classification updates automatically on the next daily refresh.
BSR data comes from our broad market coverage of the top-1.5M products and is shared across all workspaces (read-only, anonymized at the operator level). Targeted data comes from your workspace's specific priority-queue uploads and is isolated to your workspace — other workspaces cannot see your targeted ASINs or the enrichment data generated from them. This boundary is enforced at the database level.
Yes. All tiers support CSV and XLSX export from any table view. Scout Pro adds PDF formatted reports and JSON bulk export. Scout + Protect includes API access for programmatic data retrieval. Export row limits vary by tier — check your workspace capacity bar for current limits. Exports include a watermark with your workspace identifier for audit traceability.
Navigate to Admin, then Users, and click Add User. Enter their email address and select a role (admin, member, or viewer). They'll receive a magic-link email to sign in — no password needed. Admins can manage brands and settings; members get full read access plus enrichment requests; viewers get read-only dashboards.
During the MVP phase, tier changes and billing are handled directly. Email support@webotee.com with your workspace slug and the tier you'd like to move to. Upgrades take effect within one business day. Downgrades are processed at the end of your current billing cycle. We'll set up self-service billing via Stripe in a future release.
Submit a data deletion request via the contact form on the Support page or email support@webotee.com directly. We acknowledge all deletion requests within 30 days per our data handling policy. Deletion covers your workspace configuration, uploaded authorized seller lists, enrichment results, and any targeted ASIN data. BSR-derived aggregate data (which is anonymized) is not affected.
Alerts fire based on the alert engine, which runs after the daily data refresh. If your inbox is empty, check three things: (1) you have at least one managed brand with active ASINs, (2) your alert subscriptions are enabled in Admin, then Alerts, and (3) the thresholds haven't been set too high. New workspaces start with default thresholds — you may need to tune them for your brand's normal activity level.
Both tools analyze Amazon sellers and brands. SmartScout is broader — 10 marketplaces, a geographic Seller Map, sales estimators, subcategory browsing, keyword relevance. We're narrower but deeper on seller competitive intelligence and brand-partnership decisions: click any seller to see their full brand portfolio, find overlapping competitors, and track what brands they're adding or dropping over time. Plus scored Brand Heat Score + MAP discipline + fragmentation (published math), cross-brand operator overlap with your tracked portfolio, daily buybox seller history with merchantId resolution back to Dec 2024, and legal-grade evidence exports. Most wholesale teams use both — SmartScout as the everyday lookup tool, Webotee as the competitive layer for "what are my competitors selling, and should I pitch this brand?"
Not yet. Magic-link email auth is current. SSO / SAML / SCIM integration is on the 2026 H2 roadmap for our Enterprise tier. If your IT team requires SSO for procurement approval, mention it on the demo — we can scope custom integration timing.
$89/mo self-serve entry for wholesale sourcing teams. Includes core scoring (Brand Heat Score, fragmentation, MAP discipline), catalog tracking (10 brands), Subcategory Browser, partnership-opening signals. Upgrade to Scout Pro ($179/mo) for full history, CSV exports, and up to 25 brands. Scout + Protect ($295/mo) adds MAP monitoring, legal evidence export, and real-time alerts.
Yes, from Core tier and above. Upload a CSV of UPCs or ASINs (or mixed), we resolve UPC→ASIN and return an enriched report with brand, seller landscape, MAP discipline, Brand Heat Score, and (for seller-sourcing audience) partnership-readiness signals. Monthly quota by tier: 5K ASINs (Core), 25K (Plus), 200K (Enterprise).
Geographic pins are inferred from observed shipping-origin metadata on buybox observations across the full tracked period. Sellers with consistent ship-origin patterns across many observations render with high confidence. Sellers with conflicting origins (multi-warehouse operators) show a confidence score + multi-location indicator. US + UK coverage only in V1.
